How To add Footer widget in blogger Contempo Template

Go To Edit HTML:
Press ctrl + F & Find Below Code

id='footer'

at the same line change showaddelement attribute to true, like that:

<b:section class='footer' id='footer' name='Footer' showaddelement='true' tag='footer'>

Now refresh Layout tab you'll find Add a Gadget inside footer section.

Great solution! It instantly works! I'd searched for this and only found answers in which I had to copy & paste text to places I couldn't find. Once set to true, you can add an HTML widget to the footer and customize its content with html or CSS... Thank you!
